Well I really should'nt complain, we did have a January thaw (2) days and now we are expecting 8-12 inches of snow :(.  If it was'nt for the thaw we would'nt have any place to put the snow. I always try to find a silver lining and I keep thinking that at least we are gonna have water in the well in the spring!

2nd Blessing - When the weather is shabby and all the goats are nestled in the barn I can catch up on either stocking up and making stew or soup or just being able to sit and spin or catch up on my sewing projects  You see I do try to make the most of it - or at least until its time to shovel!

countrylivin -It seems like this year we've had alot of messes :) Babies are doing great, Valentines Week they we'll be ready to go. I have one that does not like the snow - I carry him to the pen and then back to the barn. It really is funny! Where in Maine are you from? I would'nt trade Maine for anything! I just love it here - snow and all!
