For Such a Season as This

RITE OF PASSAGE

8:28 AM, Friday, June 6, 2008 .. 3 comments .. Link

Tonight our littlest princess goes from an 8th grader to a high schooler (gasp!!) We have homeschooled this year through a private Christian school and she will participate in their graduation ceremony. She is so excited. It is so hard to believe that she is really a high schooler and then what!!

We have a party at some friends nearby the school afterwards so it should be a good time of celebrating.

We have lots to do today before we leave. We also have guests this weekend and must get the house ready for our guests coming tomorrow.

Have a blessed weekend

Cyndi

Congratulations to your princess upon her "stepping up" into high school. May she be blessed throughout her high school years, with knowledge of the Lord as well as knowledge of her many schooling subjects.

God bless one and all~ Andrea

Thank you for visiting my blog too, Cyndi. :-)

I have had two homeschooled high school graduates so far and we used American School for all 4 years of high school for both of them. It is based in Lansing, Illinois (a suburb of Chicago) and you can contact them at:

http://www.americanschoolofcorr.com/

It is specifically geared for the student at home. We loved using it and so have others whom we have told about them. I think you would be pleased also.

It is a non-religious curriculum so you will have to supplement some Bible study, if you so desire. But you won't have to worry about your high schoolers being taught a religion that isn't in agreement with your family's viewpoints.

Good luck and have fun! High school with American School, with my two oldest children, were some of the happiest homeschooling years of our lives.

God bless you always Cyndi~ Andrea
XOXOXO

Wow, I know I was very excited when I started high school. Now I have one more year and I don't know where the past 4 have gone.
