• Thu-29-Jan-2009 - Clean Surface #1

I hoped this year would find clean surfaces in my home.  Well, folks, it ain't gonna happen unless I MAKE IT HAPPEN.  So, as my children were doing school yesterday, I decided to make something happen.  My son deserves a clean work surface for school, so I gave it to him!  It began like this...

And after just 16 minutes--JUST 16 MINUTES--it looked like this...

I cannot tell you how much PEACE that brings to my soul!  Even Kendrick has a smile on his face!  Stay tuned for Clean Surface #2...

Great job. Doesn't it feel good to see some organization coming around...even if it is small spots at first!

Lol - your photos just reminded me I have a pile of towels on our dining room table waiting to be put away. Thanks for that.

that reach my soul. Thanks for your comment on the 'canoe' trip blog. So true are your words. Interesting that every 'trip' we take (spiritually as you aptly revealed) is a struggle for life. That trip could have easily ended in disaster, as so can our godless sidetrips we take have so much risk. But our God IS faithful. Your blog continues to display such imagery! The cold snow. The warm fire. The vivid bursting sky. The 'table' of life, like our very soul. Interesting ho we clean the table and so readily it fills. Sand in a hole caving in. Symbolic you set clean folded clothes on it, or new lessons for your child. How often corners of our life get junk settled on it and it stays for years. I so enjoy your blog. It stimulates me to think more of God each time I visit. Thank you. Rob Ontario Canada
