Another question for you homestead bloggers
I have recently tried to post a picture on here and it said I didnt have enough space. Do you know why? I havent posted that many posts.
I did send an email to the front porch, but it might have gotten lost in the shuffle. Do I have to delete old posts? Or is there something else I can do? I know I have seen other sites that have many more posts than I do!
Thanks again!

Open your picture in a paint program and see how big it is. The file may be huge - then "stretch and skew" it down and save it. Then try it. Hope this helps.

I have also experienced this. I have photos in photobucket.com and I pick the picture then I try copy and paste when and how it will let me. There you also can resize them. Remember what ever you want to do YOU CAN with time and effort. It will not be easy in the beginning but worth it all when you do it. Hope this helps. lovingly, rilda *U*

I have had the same question. I have posted many pictures then all of a sudden I couldn't? I sent a question to support as well and have received no answer.

I just had this same post question b/c I had problems with my account. It was simple to fix :) thanks to a fellow blogger.(anoldfashionedgirl). First, I created a free account with photobucket.com and bulk uploaded my picture files onto my account there. Then, when I was writing my blog and I wanted to enter a picture, I would go to photobucket and click on the link to direct upload the pic and copy it. Then go back to my blog and paste that link into the icon where you uploaded your pictures before but it would be the direct link and then you could preview it and voila--it was on your page. To keep the photos a decent size, when I uploaded them on photobucket I would make sure they were uploaded "medium" size which is an option they give you. I hope this helps! Happy Mothers Day!

Kim,
I use the Microsoft Picture Manager to "resize" my pictures. If you have the Microsoft Office Package on your computer then you most likely have Picture Manager. I learned the same way you did that all pictures must be resized. The large pictures, like the one of the horses, distorts the formating of the whole blog. That is why there is a large blank area down the side of the blog. You can start by editing your existing pictures down to size. That is what I did.
Blessings,
Jennie
