White Chocolate Party Mix

A dear friend of ours (actually the woman who made my wedding dress) gave us this recipe. My kids have adopted her as their grandmother. They call her Grandma Linda. She gave this recipe. It is a stape during the holidays in her home! White Chocolate Party Mix 10 oz of min pretzels 5 cups of cherrios 5 cups of corn chex 5 cups of chorn chex 2 cups of salted peanuts 1 lb of M & M’s ( I like to get what ever holiday colors I am making it for. Red/green=Christmas, Black/Orange=Halloween, Red/Pink=Valentines, etc.) Mix all of these and set aside. You better have a big bowl! 2 pkgs(12 oz) of chips===WHITE CHOCOLATE 3 T. vegetable oil Microwave for 2 in on high and stir once. 10 seconds at a time until smooth. Pour over cereal mixture and pour onto wax papered cookie sheet and then let set. Store in airtight container. |
