Butterfingers

Butterfingers ½ cup of butter or margarine ¾ cup of white karo syrup 2 cups of sugar 1 cup of water Put in pan and stir until well mixed. Cook to brittle stage 300*. Stir in 2 cups of creamy peanut butter. Spread on cookie sheet. While still warm sprinkle on chocolate chips. Let melt and spread smooth. Cut into bars or break into pieces. |
