Cherries.....

A friends son was selling cherries to go on a trip to Australia, for $1.00 a pound. So I just bought 20 lbs worth!! Came home, immediately washed them. Took the stems off and put a gallon of them in the fridge to eat off of for the next few days!!heehee.... And I froze 8 qt bags of them. We love to pull them out of the freezer and suck on them. They are like little cherry popsicles! I have tried canning cherries in the past. The kids just dont like them that way. I will eat them that way, but prefer them frozen myself! Off to make dinner.... |
