I am back and I have so very much to tell you! I will not be able to blog everything tonight because I am so tired and it is late. BUT--William Michael was born October 3, 2008 at 6:57 p.m! Anna ended up having a C-section. The baby just would not come down the birth canal. During the C-section the doctors found out why--the cord was wrapped around his neck--twice--up near the placenta, so he could not advance down as God intended. Momma and baby are doing fine!!
They are sooo...tired. Shh....
Both mommy and daddy are tired.
Beautiful--beautiful baby boy! Anywho, on October 13, we drove out of New Jersey headed for Virginia. It was an easy trip--just about 5 and 1/2 hours even with diapers changing breaks! Will knew a better way than I did and we missed all the little towns and speed traps that slows everyone down. It was all interstate and 60mph, so we got home quick. It was in the high 70's-clear sky-and that southern feeling of being home! I did enjoy my stay, but I was really homesick for my guys. I wrote in my journal that "I knew that God was taking care of them, but I wanted to be the one He did it through." I really missed them, and it was a great reunion--complete with tears, hugs, kisses and welcome home signs. I love my guys!! I called my friend Marianne and the moving in began. When Robert, Marianne's husband, got off from work--he came and helped move the big furniture. Donnie had painted the room while I was in New Jersey, so everything, even the curtains, could be brought in and put up immediately. So, when they went to bed that night most everything was in place. Peaceful.... Today, has been cleaning up some of the stuff that needed to be sorted through and a place found for. Anna has been decorating baby William's side of the room. It looks so cute! They have worked hard to get their things put away, so the livingroom could be used. They are so tired and really need a couple days of rest, but with a baby, and a need for a new job, rest has sort of taken a back burner. But, they are at peace with everything, and that is good. Will took a break from all the above activity and taught Seth how to properly use a BB gun out in the backyard, and wouldn't you know it.....Seth took to it like a fish to water! He was hitting all the targets that Will gave him. They are fast friends now...let me tell ya! Donnie wanted Will to go to his Men's Prayer Meeting tonight and Will went. The guys gave Will a Daddy's baby shower! Diapers, wipes, a bathtub, a book and clothes....Donnie said Will was quite surprised! God is good! Will came in all smiles and wanting to surprise Anna with all "his" shower gifts. They were both happy and all smiles. They have already figured out where to put everything. Like I said--God is good! I have gotten some wonderful comments about my panic attacks. Yes, I am still having waves of these awful tormenting fears, but speaking God's truth and changing my perspective concerning these attacks have really helped. I can and do fall immediately into prayer and ride on the tzitzits of Jesus Christ's robes. (I must say that I have lost some weight through all this--so that is a blessing.) I live one day at a time, and that is all I can do, so these attacks can only come if they are allowed by God and only in a day time span. I try to not think about tomorrow and the possiblity of having an attack "tomorrow", so God's word again is true. Matthew 6:24 "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." So, I do believe God is bringing me through these attacks--slowly, and for His Glory and my training in righteousness. Sanctification can sometimes be very difficult to live through let alone understand. Well, that is all I can get out tonight. Thank you for all your prayers. Now, we need to pray for a job for Will. He is anxious to get one and start providing for his little family. I so would appreciate it. Good night and God Bless!!
