Evening, All...

I hope this finds everyone well, with this new line of severe weather coming through...  It's not supposed to reach us until about 2 am, so we spent a windy, BEAUTIFUL day getting as much done on the chicken coop as possible, and getting it secured for the winds they're predicting.  Hopefull the 3 walls we have done and braced will sit well.  It looks great.  I am so tired...

On top of that I've done about 5 loads of laundry, hauled rocks all over, built a cold frame single handedly, and planted spinach, bibb lettuce, and peas in it.  (using Square Foot Gardening Methods) Two weeks from now I will plant the other half of my frame with the same 3 veggies to hopefully get a good long salad pickin' season.  I hope to get the rest of my seedlings started in the greenhouse this week as well. (might as well use it while I have it...)  actually, I confess, I was trying to find a spot for them in the house until I was just typing this and remembered "I have a greenhouse!!"  How I missed the obvious use for the 20 x 60 building in the yard, I don't know.   Oh well!

So........ since we're a family of exausted people, dinner is Baked Homemade Mac & Cheese w/ chopped Ham & Broccoli & bread crumbs on top.  Easy AND Yummy, you can't beat that!  Have a good evening, and stay safe!
