Life in the rural fast lane...

Why, since we moved to the country...

...is there store bread in my kitchen?

...are we tired of Sonic, we've eaten there so much?

...are there dust bunnies in my living room?

...do people run out of socks?

...is my van always out of gas?

... do I have no routines, menus, plans?

Somehow, I've landed in the rural fast lane.  Behind a tractor hauling hay, with no room to pass.  Ever feel like that?  Yes, a week ago it was all, watching the birds, la la la... but somehow, now that I have more time to do things, I'm getting less done!  Why is that?  It's like I'm so used to frantically doing 100 things at once that I don't remember how do do one thing and finish it before doing something else.  I WANT to stay home, but somehow it seems we run somewhere nearly every day.  WHY IS THAT?

I'm not cooking, the laundry isn't done, the dishes are sticky & probably 3 days old, there's overdue library books in the van, trash NEEDS to GO, and I feel lost w/ our budget as nothing is due right now, so I've not been keeping up.   DUH DUH DUHHHHHHHHHHH.. I'd better get it straight!  So much for "permanent vacation" huh?

ACTUALLY.  On vacation we don't run around this much.  Hopefully soon I'll get some new routines in order.  I hope.  EEK!

SO that's my goal for the week.  To slow down and get something DONE.  Really.  Wish me luck.

Shari

Ok, take a deep breath, count to ten and then take it one chore at a time dear. LOL

I have felt like this many times. I kinda feel like that this week since I have been sick and still trying to keep up a little on housework, bills, bank accounts, taxes, etc.

God's Blessings,
Amy Jo

Life hit you. It is hard to do it all. Take one chore get it done and move on to the next. It will take time to get on track, don't worry we all have times we fall behind. God Bless. mj
