Thursday... Right???

Well, we survived the 1st night in our smaller bed.  We downsized from a king to a full.  As Al said, it's like a real bed, only smaller...  (seems he once said this about his D-SIL's shoes, also!)  Our move to a smaller house seems to be making our friends' house smaller as well, since Jared & Sherrie took our king suite & huge desk off our hands (thank you, and enjoy!!)

See, I'm getting good at this purge, Purge, PURGE thing.  I have a HUGE pile for goodwill in the garage.  We talked about a yard sale, but we're moving to a road that is truly "Less Travelled" so we'd have to drag it all back to town and beg yard space for the yard sale from mom. (ugh.   I don't want to move it all that much!)  We're also donating our "boxy but good" garage fridge to our new church.

A long heart to heart w/ Anna yesterday made me rethink a few of the things on my blog.  Hence, the fewer links, and change to just Christian as my faith in my intro.  I decided to leave out the religious politics, as quite frankly I'm sick of the whole mess.  After all, I'm the one who summed it up yesterday that if you have Jesus & the Bible, what else do you need besides you faith?  Put my money where my mouth is and all that.

For the rest of the week, I plan to:

~work on school a bit with the girls (some is better than none right now)

~clean up my e-mail address book mess and get our change of address out to everyone

~continue my search for a TV stand that will fit in the new LR, as the huge Armoire WILL NOT (by 2 in...)

~look into signing up w/ a CRS for the girls for school (changing counties mid-year looks to be a pain)

~finish packing the VERY FEW things left.

~Continue to tell DH we do not need to purchase a Surbaban this week (even if it's cool, AND CHEAP ~maybe we COULD go look at it..... hmmmmm)  Minivan & 900 ft elevation (straight UP) to our new house don't seem to mix well... (can ya hear it scraping ????  eek!!)

~RELAX!!

Well, I'm off to make some java, walk the dogs, start some wash, read a few of my favorite blogs, supervise girlies getting up, you know... LIFE!  Peace~ Shari

It sounds like all thing are coming together. You are giving me inspiration. We are going to look at a 812ft. cabin on 10 acres Monday. We would have to add on atleast 1 room. Anyway, I can't wait to see how you make it all work.
