Evening, All

WHEW!  What a busy day!  (as usual...)

The ladies helped sort Mt. Washmore this morning, and we got about a million loads done, with only a million left for tomorrow.  We had a long chat about how wasteful it was for that many clothes to churn through the laundry system so fast.  (pick em up off the floor, they won't be dirty, etc......)  The we tidies up a bit, and DH decided to shampoo dog smell out of M & J's carpet.  This involved a bunch of furniture moving, and evolved into M moving into what was the guest room to try having her own room again for a while.  (lucky dog, she's got the comfy bed!)  We also got a lot of school done, and got caught up in our saxon math.  We made our grocery list for the evening and went shopping, and  I did firm up out menu for Th.  We also got a mower battery, and that runs now, unfortunately, the big truck's problem seems to be, well, bigger. (sigh) another day's project...

So here's what we're having for Thanksgiving...

Al's making turkey, Sherrie's bringing a ham.

Mashed Potatoes & gravy

glazed carrots, & Mom's bringing green beans & squash

stuffing, cranberry sauce,  and yeast rolls

mulled cider & tea (some of us will be having the traditional Thanksgiving Guinness)

pumpkin pie & deep dish apple pie w/ vanilla ice cream  or whipped cream for dessert

I think that's it.  Sounds like more than enough.

I'm going to go work on my Christmas gift list, and see what I still have left to do.  Hopefully, not much!  Have a good night!  Peace~ Shari
