Looks like you have a good helper there :- ) My son (8) helped his Daddy and I get the sends in the ground. I think it is a good experience for kids. I want my DS and DD's to realize how important it is to grow your own food if at all possiable. Every bit counts.
Our strawberries at the PYO farm are sold by the pound. The prices were up from last year. It cost us $1.35 per lb. yesterday. (that's a bit too much from where I stand.) We ended up picking 17 lbs. The girls ate about a pound each when we got home ;- ) They are much sweeter than last year.
I am fixing to go and get the first jam of 2008 started. Yummy!
Have a blessed day in The Lord!

Your garden looks wonderful and your grandson looks like he's really enjoying the work you've given him! What a beautiful field! But what I'm noticing the most is your apron! I've been searching far and wide for quite a while for a pattern like that! I love the way that it is cut along your back and the way it fits! Any chance that you can tell me where to find the pattern? I see your Etsy store but didn't see any in that type of pattern.
In Him,
Tracy
