Antique finds and rough day! (Pictures)

We enjoy the simple life!

We went antique shopping yesterday down in Southern Maine. Well there was a snow storm that was going to hit Maine last night. Well guess what it came in late morning while we were quit aways from home like three hours away. Well we ended up going to four antique shops and it was snowing very hard and then the roads got really bad we left our last antique shop made a left hand turn should of been right. Well we ended up on the line of NH four hours away! Oh the weather was so bad and snowing hard we were on Route 1 and thats the coastal route with every little town.. We finally got home four hours later and very thankful..We said many prayers to get home safe..

These are cookbooks two from Maine that are very old.. great recipes in them..

I like to collect pie plates..

Years ago some tin pie plates had deposit on them like these.. I got two of these

These one has a stamp on the back that says premier warranted 22-k-gold this has a gold trim around the plate.

This is a 2pc Romertope W. Germany number 107 on back its bake ware and I have to wash and clean on my finds I have no idea how to clean this does anybody no how to clean this clay pot? thanks

Wow, what great finds. My dd collects bowls, and I know she would love that one. Isn't it wonderful when you find something that your mom or grandma use to have. It just brings back doesn't it?...........Kitty

Kitty it sure does..I have allot of antique's I have many of everything when it comes to kitchen things..
