snow and more snow

Good morning from Snowy white out conditions here in Maine. Church has been cancelled today the weather is really bad out. They have up our storm too 4-8" the wind is surpose to pick up later today. So guess I'll clean the fridge fold some laundry and do some sewing. Well time to eat some breakfast with some nice blueberries..Have a blessed day!

I was just curious, I know today is Sunday and there is no mail, but during the week and the weather is that bad, do you still get mail delievery? I am a part-time mail carrier, and I always wondered about areas of the country that got a lot of snow if the mail was held up for some time, or do they attempt delievery everyday?

Mail goes every day some mail carries have four wheel drive and some don't usually the town keeps the dirt roads plowed and the way the mail box's are set up usually the snow plow clips enough of the snow away so carrier and newspaper gets there. But we don't always get the paper.. And mail almost always if for some reason we would get it the next day..But we live on a dirt road and now there is a family with a child that goes to school so they have to keep road some what clear so bus can get up.. There are times they would have to drive to end of dirt road to get bus.. School does get called off at times..
