Has any one noticed the price of wheat? I was told the prices would be going up lots.. Just wondering if I should start buying in bulk now.. Thanks for stopping by..

About 6 weeks ago I read that wheat was going to double, at least, in price. I just can't remember where I read it. Needless to say I bought some more. jodalton

They said that wheat prices are the highest they have ever been. You can really see the price increase at your local bakery thrift store.
Our fresh bread from the thrift store went from .50 per loaf to .89 a loaf. That is still cheaper than the store brand at $1.49 per loaf where I live.
I have been trying to figure which is a better price, home made or store bought. It seems that store bought is better at this time for us.
I really need an easy white/wheat bread recipe that my family would rather eat then the store bought stuff.
