sewing(looking for bias tape)

I'm wanting to buy bias tape in large amount.  That would be extra wide and also the narrow..Does anyone know where I can buy it? thanks haflinger

I don't know where you can purchase a large quantity, but have you thought about making your own? There are several sites which give instruction for this.

I prefered the diagram and instructions at this quilting site, http://www.mccallsquilting.com/lessons/fundamentals/index7.html;

But I liked the chart, which gives measurements and amounts, at this site, http://www.sewnews.com/resources/qa/qa0306c/.

I have made my own bias tape on different occasions and it's convenient because you can get a better match to your fabric. It can also be cheaper, especially if you need a lot. Unless, of course, you get a fantastic deal somewhere on buying it in bulk.

Just an idea. :)

but not found it in bulk, my dd uses it a lot in her business but I do know in some catalog somewhere I have seen some sort of gadget to make it easily, hhmmm, now you got me wondering, keep checking my blog, if I find it I will show it but knowing me, by then I will have forgotten who asked!
