Baby bibs??

I'm thinking about adding baby bibs to my craft fair. What fabric is good to use ?and does anybody have a good free link for patterns? Thanks Brenda

Maybe something there will get you started. I use to sew preemie clothes for newborns in need so I know how difficult it can be to find sewing patterns on the net. Oh you had asked about fabric. My children are teens now, but when they were small I preferred the terry cloth because it washes out easier, stains less :)

Thank you so much.. That is a big help to me. I'm a grammie now and way back many years ago I didn't sew so I bought my bibs or threw a diaper over the shoulder. Thanks again..

Though, personally I wouldn't be able to resist adding some cute, simple, baby appliqué, perhaps by machine so that it would go quickly.

bibs

My favorite bibs were 2 I had that seemed to be made out of a dish towel. They had a t-shirt type top & like about 1/2 of a towel for the bib. If I made them, I'd use velcro so you did not have to pull them over the head. The neck hole was very big though so it was not too messy. They seemed to hold up well through many, many washings.
