I'm looking for info on a Tdress its a dress the women wore back in the late 1700-1800. I would like info on this..
Ray and I are thinking about joining a club is a living history club providing primitive camping (rendezvous)and camaraderie for people from all walks of life.
What they do...
camp in the time period between 1750-1800 especially camps of the french and Indian war,Revolutonary war and Rocky Mountain fur trade peroids. The dress and equipment are within this peroid..
Does anybody have a living history club in there area?
Thanks for stopping by.. Sister Brenda/Ray

Could it be a Tea Dress? They were very popular in Victorian Era. Woman wore them to afternoon tea. Hope that helps.

Wonderful fun!
Christopher joined some family friends of ours and participated in the Rendevous at MackTown for 3 years. he loved it -- although, being a Page, he got a bit warm in the sun in those woolen britches! LOL
Their encampment was Fur Trader era as well, held along the river up at The Macktown Forest Preserve in northern Illinois. It was great fun for 3 days...they opened it to schools and visitors and had several demonstrations and re-enactments.
All I've found in our area here is for Civil War...we're in a rather booming area for that time frame.
Enjoy and have fun! And share pictures!
