For the life of me I should of stayed in bed. I got up @5:00AM so I could get lots done. Like laundry~pickles~ and the list goes on.. Well guess what ?I had a mess like I never had before. I did up 7 quarts of bread~butter pickles and I'm not surpose to lift so I'm thinking what can I do to lift it all with one shot..Ok cookie sheet sounds good.. I took out 2 quarts and the last quart slid and the cookie sheet went over popped off the lids juice and cukes went everywhere I had three cases of canning jars that got hit the trash can and the force hot air vent in the floor .. What a mess if I would of thought at the time I would of takes a picture.. But my concern was to get things cleaned up and I had 3 pints that had to get in water bath.. So after everything said and done washed floor twice so far.. I ended up with 5 quarts of bread~butter and three pints it for my craft fair..
I've got two loads of laundry washed and hung and I have a load soaking and one load up towels from clean up to go.
I was planning on being outside working by now.. I'm so far behind...
There I feel better I hear the jars go ping~ping.

Thank you for your offer for the recipe for the crabapple butter. I have never done anything like this so I may call on your expertise if that is okay?

Don't ya just hate it when things like that happen and mess up your whole day. Hope the rest of your day went as planned. Oh, by the way i like your new background, it's so autumny.

Don't you hate it when things like that happen? I had spent time preparing a gorgoues lasagna one night, and went to put it in the oven. I used one hand to open the oven door, and the other to hold the lasagna, and before I knew it, the whole pan of lasagna was laying upside down on the oven door. NASTY!!!! And what a horrible thing to clean up!!!
Oh boy, what a day! Sorry it was so bad for you! As soon as I read your words "cookie sheet" I could envision exactly what was to happen!!!! So-- never again, I suppose? Take it one at a time and you'll get there a bit slower-- but you'll get there. Wasn't there a story somewhere about the hare and the tortoise? :)
