Help me pick a color

Help me pick a color? I have finally finished painting the ceiling in kitchen and dining area.. Now I'm looking for a nice country color to paint it.. The kitchen and dining area will be the same color..  Oh I forgot to mention the color of it now is red..So I will have to prime it then paint...So I would like your help.. My house is country.. So I would need a nice country color..

That's a hard one because I think just about everything can be country. Mine has green walls. I think a pale yellow maybe. My dream kitchen would be red so I guess I'm not much help. LOL.
I'd love to see a picture when you decide.

I have pictures on my blog of dinning area and kitchen.. I did think of a pale yellow.. But I don't know that is why I'm asking for help..

I can't give much advice on this, but wanted to tell you what I am planning on painting my dining room and living rooms that ajoin. I had a dream one night that I painted most of the living room a medium brown color.....taupe I would call it, and the wall that ajoins with the dining room (which is also the wall that goes upstairs, so it needs to be the same color as the stairwell) a coordinating yellow. I think in the dining room, I will do a lighter shade of brown and then I can accent it with brighter colors since the theme is roosters. I will have pops of yello, greens, black, and barn red with my rooster decor.

I have been thinking about this for a while, and went to be one night thinking about it, and God gave me the dream of the exact colors! God does care about the small things. My mom hated her own bedroom and was getting ver claustrophobic when she laid down at night to go to bed, and she dreamed of how the furniture should lay so that she could get more fresh air for the windows (that she had open at least a few inches all year round, even in winter), and so all furniture would fit. The following weekend she nad dad moved it around and it looked wonderful. It looked bigger, with more room in between furniture and mom never had anymore trouble sleeping at night or feeling claustrophic in that room. So.............pray about it, and possibly God will give you the perfect answer as well!

Hi Amy Jo my dinning room and kitchen is one big room with a divider in the middle kind of and u can see the living room and I will be painting that as well. So I kind of need colors that will flow together.. I did think of a light brown for living room... I just don't know.. Thanks and thanks for stopping bye..

I'm affraid that Im not much help either, because I am wanting to do the same thing. We have that awful 1970's paneling throughout our entire home. My dh loves it, I HATE it with a passion. He is just now, after almost 12 years in the house is agreeing to let me paint it. Now to pick a color. So see, Im in the same boat as you, what color? Show me yours when your done as inspiration, LOL..........Kitty
