Well when I got up this AM I thought boy its humid I really don't want to make jam but the house its that bad its over 80 outside and starting to get cloudy thunderstorms are coming in for later this afternoon. I'll head out here soon and do some mowing..
I made over 29 pints and have a few in the fridge. I will make more later to try new recipe out. I'm in hopes to take some of my jam up town Sat to sell some along with some other goodies..
Thanks for stopping in hope u like the stay..

Blessings Sister Brenda!
First, what a bounty:) I LOVE canning:) I can't wait to get started on some of our own in the next couple months. On the otherhand I also understand "too hot" to heat up the kitchen:P
Second, I just wanted to say that I absolutely adore your backgrounds and such that you do with your blogsite. I wish I knew enough about computering to do something special with mine. I will have to just enjoy yours:)
God be with thee!

Mmmm yum that looks good! It's making my mouth water just thinking about it. I can almost smell it from here! How come you call it jam instead of jelly? I thought all Americans called it jelly.
We call it jam down under here too. :o)

Hi Rachel it does look good and does smell great. Well what I understand is..
Jam is where u still have chunks of fruit
Jelly is where you strain it only to get juice..
Now I may not explained that well but best I could do.. thanks for stopping by..

Wow! That looks great! I would love to have your recipe. This picture represents a lot of hard work. I think making jam is one of the more creative aspects of homemaking that is so satisfying. Keep up the good work!
