An Update

You see, this is why I resisted blogging for so long! I can never think of anything clever to say!

I had my MRI, which went without a hitch. The next day they called me back in for a sedimentation rate blood test - which, in my understanding is a general blood test which detects a general "illness" factor - which could be cancer, lupus or a number of other things - nothing specific - but I've not heard anything back from the doctor (bad or good) so I'm assuming it's nothing awful - at least from that test - or they would have called me.

This Monday is my big appointment. I'm waiting with baited breath to hear the MRI results because I am now unable to walk more than a few steps. This is obviously hard when I have three littles at home!!
A world of pain medication has been offered to me, but alas, I'm a nursing mother, so I'm doing a personal "pain tolerance" experiment instead.
Thanks for all your prayers and kind notes. We're getting along okay, and there are certainly those worse off than I!!
Right now my personal prayer is not necessarily for healing, but for a resolution - that they would find a specific cause so a specific treatment path could be decided upon.
Until then, I'm just waiting upon the Lord a little more.

I will continue to lift you in prayer and for those doctors to have wisdom in locating an answer to your ailments.

I pray that the grace of God will cover your day as you are at home alone with your little ones. I also pray that God will bring you assistance to help you get through each day.
Blessings,
Tracy

Thank you for updating. I am praying for healing! Please let us know when the test results are in.
PS. I never have anything clever to say either! But I don't think it's absolutely necessary either! I just blog about my days activities or maybe post a recipe I like. I love hearing about what's going on in everyone's daily lives. Don't quit blogging. :o)

I will pray for resolution for your condition. I have been there & it is sometimes tougher not knowing, going through continued tests, and waiting. I pray for wisdom for those providing your care & reviewing the test results & for strength as you balance so much as a mother of yourng children. Love in Him~ Karyn/Oregon
