Life At The Bear Den

Every time I think we have our move planned out something happenes that changes it. I am so tired... I can't even begin to tell you how tired I am of thinking. yes, just thinking is making me tired! I wish I could go to sleep and wake up and not have to have a single thought all day!

Originally, we were suppose to go to Michigan in January to view a few houses and make an offer. next, Dh was told he would get a higher up position than we thought and would start his training in a few weeks which would last 8 weeks. that pushed us back moving a good 2-3 months. Now, DH comes and tells me he doesn't think we should wait and we should stick to our original plan and go to Michigan in January... GRRRRRRRR!!!! I'm tired!

So, like DH I too think it is silly to pass on a house that could be ours for the next 30-50 years just for training. He can take the training once we are in Michigan for 6 months. So we have decided to pass on his training and go find us a house now.

I'm glad we are doing this and don't have to wait another few months. I really don't think this house will be there in a few months. Another house we have had our eye on has sold and there aren't many we have seen on the net that really catch our eye. We don't want this house to slip away. I pray the inspection goes well and that we actually like the house in person. I don't know what lies across the street from this house but it looks as if there is nothing but trees around the house... the house comes with 3.5 acres so I'm figureing most of the house is away from other houses. As long as there isn't a prison or garbage yard across the street then I'll be fine. Please keep us in yur prayers for all to go well.

I will be so glad when this is all over. i couldn't even enjoy Christmas because I just had too much on my mind. Christmas did go well and the kids enjoyed the day. It was actually very relaxing how we did things. that is unusal for us because with 5 kids it is pretty hectic on Christmas day.

I hope y'all had a great Christmas and enjoyed your family and friends. I'm not sure if I'll be blogging much in the next few weeks so I want to wish y'all a great New Year!

Sorry to hear things are so up and down~~that is hard no matter how many children one has. But here is hoping 2009 finds you in a new home in Michigan that will be just right for the whole family. Drink a cup of relaxing tea. Enjoy your day whatever is set before you. Know that others are thinking of you and your situation and our prayers are going up for you.

Sounds good!
From our experiences, even if it looks like a pretty forrest across the road, ASK what will be going there. We've come across a few good deals only to find a highway is planned at one another had plans of cutting it & putting in a mobile home park, oil rigs, etc.
Hope all goes well!
