It is cold in my house today and I'm really starting to consider putting the heat on. I don't want to because in my mind I am saying it is only the beginning of October and will be in the high 60's today. The problem is that the sun isn't out and it is staying cool. I just hate putting the heat on so soon.

   Anyhow, today is kind of blah. I did my grocery shopping yesterday so today and the rest of the weekend I plan on baking. I have no idea of what I might bake yet, but I will be baking. I do have to make a batch or two of buttermilk biscuits to keep in the freezer. These are great to have on hand for a quick breakfast in the mornings. You can get the biscuits nice and warm with 30 seconds in the microwave and then fry up an egg, put on cheese or a piece of sausage and you have a quick breakfast sandwich. I prefer the biscuits plain with jelly and a cup of tea, yummy!

   With tinking about this now, I think I should make some cookies for the freezer. It is nice to have batches of different cookies on hand for holidays ahead of time. I'll have to get my cookie book out.

   I have to go clean up the family room in a bit. DH found someone who wants to buy our big screen t.v. so i have to go make sure the toys are put away and the t.v. is dusted and shiny like new. The t.v will only be 2 yrs old in January so I think the people will be getting a great deal on it. We are only asking $400.00 for it and $50 more for the surround sound system. We don't think the t.v. would surrvive the long trip across country so we thought it would be safer to sell it and buy a new one once we have a house.

   Anyhow, lots and lots of figuring things out and packing and all that other fun crap that goes along with moving your family over a thousand miles away. Wish me luck
