Pumpkin Sloppy Joes

                                 

1 lb. ground beef

1/2 cup chopped onions

1 garlic clove, minced

1 cup canned pumpkin

1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce

2 TBSP brown sugar

2 TBSP prepared mustard

2 tsp. chili powder

1/2 tsp. salt

                                                                     

In a large skillet, brown beef. Drain fat. Add onion and garlic; cook until tender. Stir in pumpkin, tomato sauce, brown sugar, mustard, chili powder and salt. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Spoon mixture onto buns; top with chesse if desired.
