A Bungalow in Texas

• Tuesday, May 15, 2007 - Sons and Mother's Day

For Mother's Day, my oldest son (he's 16) gave me a card with $1.25 in it.  Inside the card he wrote:

Mom, I hope your life is like toilet paper-long and useful.

Later in the day he took back the $1.25.  Sunday evening he presented me with a little ceramic box.  He informed me he took the money back so he could buy the box for me.  He told me it was to hold my tea bags.

I'm still trying to get over the toilet paper comment....

I love that kid!

Blessings to you,

Karmann in Texas
