Just thought I'd give an up-date on our house construction.  This week has been more of a hit and miss as it has rained almost every day.  Next week is suppose to be about the same.  ugh!  Any way just better put on your hard hats because we're going outside and the sky is falling... Oh, no maybe its the roof.  My girls have been singing "Rain drops keep falling on my head"  as some of the ceiling texture is falling also.  Once we get the outside done we're going to have to do repair on inside ceilings.  More work, argh!  Anyway this week has been slow but I will put up some pictures of what has been done anyway. 










All roofs shown above are replaced and look wonderful just don't have pictures to show yet.  There is still one section that must be done.  It is above my kitchen.  They are having to rebuild it.  It is a flat roof.  In North Dakota flat roofs and winter don't go well together.  So they are going to make it slanted and because of the rains this week they didn't work on that part of roof.  However, they tore off all old siding and I now have a "Green"  house.  Oh, no that's not the color of siding we picked.  Here are the colors we picked:

It has just been wrapped with the green insulation.  He has also been working on trim around doors and windows as the rain allows.  It is just a big project.  My daughters and I have also been a three man demolishing team but that will be for another post as I don't have pictures of that yet.  Have to run dd is wanting to practice songs with me.  til next time.  Have a good day.
