I am still super new at this whole blog thing...I do not know how to make my page as pretty as everyone elses.  God never ceases to amaxe me in how he provides.  I have felt for a while now pretty alone in my desires and belief system.  We live in texas, but everyone I know is not into the "simpler side of life" i.e. making your own instead of buying it.  I was on a site thefamilyhomestead.com looking at how to make bread and stumbled into the message forum.  Long story short, the Lord has sent me a friend that is so much like me it eve freaks me out at times.  God is so good.  He wants us, of course to rely on hom as his source.  To come to him for EVERYTHING" but he is so good he will also put like-minded people in your paths.  Never stop being thankful.  Who would have thought a loaf of bread would bring me closer to the Lord?!?! But on another topic, I read the book "Managers Of Their Homes" by The Maxwell Family.  They are so awesome.  For those of you who have read the book, the schedule you make for the family gives each kid a color.  I have been color coding the kids' stuff according to their assigned colors.

I know exactly what you mean. I really feel out of place with my inlaws and some family. I dont really have a friends of like mind around me. So when I found these sites such as the one you found, I felt right at home. I have made a few wonderful friends here. I find that I have so much in common with most of these ladies. I love being a part of the homesteading blog world.
