The blessings of motherhood

finding the time

I have to give glory to God.  I hear so many people say "if I could onl;y find the time, I would___."  God is so good.  He wants us to accomplish so much with our days.  Many do not realize how precious our days are.  Especially when we have cildren.  They are only small for such a short time.  I have this great book I bought while I was pregannat with Ethan, called "Managers Of Their Homes" by the Maxwell Family.  They are an awesome family who have 8 children.  They have and still are homeschooling their children.  This book is about scheduling.  I have used the schedule since I was 35 weeks preganat and it is so awesome.  Many do not realize how much more the could live if they were only good stewards of their time.  Of God's time.  He is really who gives us our time.  Thank you Lord for helping me to live an abundant life.  It has always been my desire to make my own bread.  I asked the Lord to help me learn and to give me the time, and he did. I am now meaking homemeade bread, pizza, cinnamon rolls, pepperoni bread, I assure you much more to come.

My 'baby' will be 16 tomorrow.
I have two years left to 'train' before she can leave the nest. I pray she will not pack up and move out when she is 18, but she might.....
Time goes by, so fast, it makes your head spin. I just gave birth the other day. Where did the time go?
If I sit and think on this too much....it saddens me deeply. I am so glad God impressed upon me (even when I didn't aknowledge Him) to stay home with the kids. The regret would be so deep now, had I not stayed home, I think it would be unbearable!!
