Good Book that I am reading

I just wanted to pass along a book that I m in the process of reading that I thought some of you may be wanting to read.  I actually came across it in some of my flea market stuff but hopefully it can be borrowed from the library.

It is called Amish Folk Remedies for Plain and Fancy Ailments.  By:  William R. McGrath.  It is packed full of home remedies and other useful tonics and whatnot.

For example on page 22 it tells us how to preserve fresh flowers!!  If you bury fresh flowers in dry sand for 2 weeks they will become permanetly preserved and may be made into attractive bouquets that last all year long!!  I thought that was so neat.  But anyway I will let you go and hopefullyyou will get your hands on this book.  It is very interesting!!

May God Bless You,

Thank you for reviewing this book! I have seen this book at our local amish bulk food store and have wondered about it.... we rarely go to the medical doctor and do most of our health /healing at home with herbs, etc.

I will look into this book - sounds like something I may be intereste in!

Blessings,
gloria
