Joining the fun

Hi all! I thought I’d come over and join in all the fun! As for me, I’ve been married for 15 years and have two daughters, 6 and 8 years old. We live on ten acres on the top of a hill overlooking the mountains. I enjoy simple things in life – the smell of clothes drying on the line, seeing the pretty canning jars lined up in the pantry, and snuggling over a good book with my children. I love to garden, and we have a few fruit trees that are good producers. We freeze, can and dry our fruits and vegetables. We had chickens until the pesky fox got to them, so after some spring coop repair, we’ll get some more. I’d love more animals, but hubby doesn’t want to be tied to the house on a regular basis. I love to sew, and make most of my curtains, tablecloths, fabric napkins, etc. I’m learning to quilt, and will share my adventures about that. Looking forward to getting to know y’all.

Hi, nice to meet you. I am sure you will love it here. I like to sew too, but dont do alot of it. I keep meaning to get serious, but not enough hours in the day.

Hello and happy Sunday to you! :) My name is Robin and my hubby and children live in KY currently. (we hope to move N.W.) My hubby is an OTR truck driver and so I enjoy fellowshiping via blogs quite a bit. :)

My daughters are close to yours in age. Emma is 9 and Beka just turned 8 in December.

Do you homeschool? We use ABeka curriculum and *love* it so much.
