This has been a really busy week! We finished the fencing on the 17 acre pasture so the sheep can go over there during the day but we dont have their night pasture fenced in on that pasture yet so i have to take them back to their old night pasture at night. Thats always a bit of a rodeo even with the help of my English Shepherds! I cant wait to have their new night pasture built! It will be attached to the 17 acre pasture so that i only have to open the gate to let them out in the morning and back in at night. Besides finishing the pasture we did a lot of cleaning up. We have 50 acres and a lot of trees and after Oklahomas monster ice storm in January we are still cleaning up. Im sooo tired of dragging tree limbs to the burn pile! But eventually we'll get it all done and its been soo much worse for the people in the city trying to get their debris cleaned up and hauled off. Prague auction was this weekend but i resisted the temptation to go! A friend spent friday night with us since she goes both fridays and saturdays. She came home Sat with 2 minature donkeys, a hair sheep ewe, a dorper x ram lamb, a pygmy billy goat kid, call ducks, silkies, quail and a mouse! Bet has a busy couple of weeks getting everyone settled in! I get to spend this morning pulling tposts that made up our old temporary cross fencing..it was *temporary* for all of three years! We sure didnt count on that lol! And hopefully if the weather stays nice i'll get my main chicken coop cleaned out. I have maran, silkie and easter egger eggs in the incubator. Easter egger eggs gathered for incubator #2 that i'll set tomorrow. Call duck eggs under my two broody hens. Rhode island red and black sex link chicks in my brooder room. Lambs playing in the pasture. Yep..spring is here!
Want Bucky mom?! Please? Okay..fine then.. but id be more than happy to bring him to you!
