Rain in April might well bring May flowers..but rain in March in Oklahoma just brings mud! Its been raining cats and dogs since last night and the worlds a cold wet dreary mess out there! I promised id never complain about rain again after we finally finished 2 years of the worse drought in over 100 years..but boy it would be nice to get a little at a time instead of several inches in a few hours! Thats Oklahoma for you..always fast or famine!

Ive been dragging my feet about going out to feed and im sure thats  not making me real popular with the critters this morning! I keep thinking that the rain will slow down for just a little while if i wait just a bit longer..but i dont think that its going to!

The old horse is standing in the rain by his feeder working really hard to make me feel guilty! The goats are laying by the house under the overhang shivering. They really hate to get wet! And the sheep are all curled up snug in their their barn..they arent about to come out and get wet for anything less than food!

So i guess id better go get soaked so that they'll all go find some place drier! I keep telling myself that all this rain is going to make the grass really grow! Unfortunately its also going to make all the creeks come up over their banks and make the roads flood! Hopefully Den can make it home! Theres one bridge about 8 miles off his normal route that has so far never flooded..if that one ever floods im stuck out here lol!
