Snow upon snow

The world makes no sound

In the frozen landscape

We wake to find we're snowbound

The fir boughs are bowed

right down to the ground

forming secret chambers,

treasures waiting to be found.

No plows have plowed

our country road

No way to get out -

a cozy, quiet day at home.

Light a fire in the woodstove.

Light some candles all around.

Let the wind blow all about us

We'll be snuggled in, snowbound

Hello there, dear ones :o)
I hope you're all doing well, snugged in warm and cozy, in the Tundra! It's been just beautiful, here, with snow, but also lots of sunshine and warmth to go with it--which doesn't always happen, right?!
