Bone Scan Results...

The nurse called today regarding the bone scan I had last monday.  She told me the tests showed normal.  I asked if this means I do not have arthritis.  She said it means I do not have bone cancer!  I had not realized that my doctor was checking for cancer.  For some reason, I just assumed he suspected arthritis.  SO, I was VERY relieved to hear it was normal.  My grandmother had died from bone cancer, so this has been a concern of several family members.  The nurse suggested that the fibromyalgia could be getting more debilitating at this point as an explation of the worse pain I have recently experienced. 

I have prayed for clarity of this situation and this did somewhat settle the issue for me of the diagnosis of FM.

Sending a big [[[[[[[[[ HUG ]]]]]]]]]] for healing my friend. I just want you to know for me knowing that what my grandparent had opened a door for me to claim it and I did know that my future could also be as that.... as a unbeliever. Now as a believer I know that what I think, say and feel about that counts for as I line my body.thoughts, words and acts up with The WORD, it gives all good. Hallelujah! So I do not claim it and for if i do then when God's healing comes I will have a difficult time letting it go. Just wanted you to know that Father gives us our hearts desires for He put them there. With Him on our team we just have to be a victor. Thank You Father for having the best and last word concerning our lives. In Jesus' Holy Name!! loving him each day!! rilda *U*
summing it all up I have to think the opposite of how I feel. hehe! weird but so true!

I am glad to hear that you do not have bone cancer or artheritus (sp?).
Cancer is a terrible thing....my mom had cancer.....twice. She is doing better now.

Good new!!!
FM is something that many have been diagnosed with in the last six years or so. That and restless leg syndrome.
Were you diagnosed with FM? If so, do you have much pain?
Bone cancer was at one time not treatable. Now days they are getting good results with chemo and radiation.Still any cancer is bad news and it is scary to know that your doctor did suspect it. I am happy to hear about your good scan:)

question about FM

Yes I do have FM and yes, mine is very painful. The mental fatigue/"fog" is also very prevelant in my case. One doctor also suspects lupus, but I will know more in June when I see a new rhuematologist who will take over my care in this area. I am slowly learning to live with it, or in spite of it...it's just a daily learning experience. God has really blessed me and is helping me to learn how I can be used regardless of my physical circumstance. I've always been a workaholic, so this has pretty much stopped me in my tracks. I'm learning that the Lord needs me to be "still" right now. I'm exactly where HE wants me to be and I'm learning to be content w/that. He is so AMAZING!
