Little tidbits of my life

FOR TODAY (July 14, 2008)...

Outside My Window...it is still bright and sunny, at 8:15 pm!!! My basil, oregano, tomato plants and pepper plants are thriving, and the stargazer lilies are BEAUTIFUL!

I am thinking...that I hope the apples will be good this year and that I time the picking just right for all the wonderful things to be made.

I am thankful for...my mom for spending the day with me today.

From the kitchen...squash casserole, vegetable soup, roast with potatoes and cornbread! (all mom's cooking from dad's garden!!!)

I am wearing...my favorite t-shirt that says IRISH in huge letters across the front, and pj bottoms with small pink roses.

I am creating...a newly organized sewing room, finally trying to clear out some of the things from my former home business and make it more of a leisurely quilt and project room for whenever I feel like trying something for myself (for a change).

I am going...to bed soon, only had 4 hours sleep last night!

I am reading...the new John Grisham book and my bible.

I am hoping...to have another great day tomorrow.

I am hearing...the sound of my fingers on the keyboard and the almost inperceptable sound of my cats slinking around my sewing room as today is the first time ever I am letting them in...door open now since it's no longer a "business" related room.

Around the house...all sounds peaceful as day is winding down.

One of my favorite things...is when I hear my hubby's truck engine as he comes in the drive from work.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week: keep watching the apple trees, get plenty of rest and MAYBE make hubby a cheesecake.
