WINTER WONDERLAND

If you haven't already noticed.....

I am taking a break from blogging. I am really trying to find my way with this new career of stay at home mom. I am trying to find a system that best fits our family where my house is clean, the baby is happy and I am a helpmate to my wonderful husband. I have had my good days and bad days. What I have notice that the bad days usually came about when I spent too much time online and not enough caring for the wonderful home my husband has provided. So I am going to take an extended break from blogging and surfing online to concentrate on being a stay at home mom. I praise God that I have been given this chance and I want to be able to make the most of it.

staying at home

I quit work as a high school English teacher 10 years ago. It took me a whole year to get used to staying at home. Since then I've had two more children. Homeschooling has brought direction to our lives. Larry Burkett's book about becoming a stay at home mom and functioning on a single budget was helpful. I had to read a lot of books b/c I didn't have a lot of family and friends to rely on for support. Good luck and God bless!
