The baby is 2 weeks old.......

My son finally arrived in the world on September 21st.  Its been a wonderful and hard 2 weeks. Breastfeeding has had its up and downs. I had to pump for several days and feed him a bottle but he is going between bottle and breast well. Something so satisfying about providing him with his food.

This being my first baby it is hard. I didn't realize how little sleep I would get and how run down. But we are adjusting more and more. My husband has been wonderful in helping and being here for us when he is not working. Well back to motherhood

I haven't been to your blog before but am always interested in hearing about new babies. They do change your life, don't they?
The nice thing is that although you are tired now and the baby demands so much of your energy, it won't always be that way. So take heart..This a relatively short stage of new babyhood, and it gets easier as they grow. Be sure to take care of yourself and get some rest when the baby naps.
