Spring is On the Way!!

I am so excited to finally see my tulips pushing their leaves up through the mulch! There is much to do to prepare for Spring, and with the new baby I'm sure I will have my hands full! But in a good way!! The Lord has truly blessed our family and home and we are so full of thanks! My parents are visiting this weekend and next to help us put in a dishwasher, so we will see how it goes. We are also planning on recovering the kitchen table chairs with fabric that matches our homemade valence on the kitchen window.
I'll try to keep this blog better updated now that we are settling into a routine, but it's not a huge priority for me.  Our goals for this Spring are to get an organic garden into the ground in our back yard plot and raised beds, clear and clean out the multiple flower beds that we inherited with the purchase of this house, do all of the spring pruning, start compiling frugal recipes that use the in season vegetables and fruits for our family's health and budget, and lastly, to start walking on a daily basis to tone up this post-preggers body, lol!
