Baby Broderick

Well, baby Brody has finally arrived and is now a whole 6 weeks old!! Things here have been busy but wonderful! Here's a pic of him with his proud sissy Maddingly!

We think we'll keep him, lol! He's still waking up every 2-3 hours to nurse through the night, BUT, at least he's actually sleeping at night and not trying to play! He just had his first smile this last week, and he's been smiling at us to our delight ever since. My heart is so full, and I am so thankful to God for His many blessings that He showers upon our family! I will have to share the birth story when I have more time to write. At this moment I am in the middle of catching up on laundry and dishes from yesterday, which was spent babysitting two of my friends' children. They all played pretty well together, but the house felt the brunt of the burden, lol. It looked like a tornado, literally, swept through! I hope all of you out there in the blog world are doing great and I will try to post again soon, now that things are starting to get settled.

How CUTE! I can't believe my baby is 5 months old already! Enjoy these infant days! Hope all the transition goes well for you. God bless!
