A Beautiful Day here in Ms, House update, and more....

I just read over on Deanna's blog the woes of all this rain. I guess after living in Ms. for so long I just have slanted eyes on the state. It has rained a lot and the ground is like a marshy sponge but after almost 3 years of drought all I can think is PRAISE THE LORD!!! Maybe the farmers will have a descent crop, the flowers are beautiful, and the pollen is being constantly washed away. This time last year you could cut the pollen with a knife. For about the last month we have been able to have our windows open and not use any heat or air. WooHoo for the electric bill. We are even beginning to have hummingbirds. We filled our bird feeder and hummingbird feeder and they are starting to swarm around the house. I love spring. Everything is in bloom here. Although, I am so ready for our own place, this house has tulips, roses, daylilies, hyacinth, forsythia, amaryllis, and etc. It is a beautiful blooming yard. It lets me know what all I want to do in our next place.
As for the next place, here is where we stand. The people took our ridiculous offer. Which we later found out was $50,000.00 less than what they were originally asking. Which was wayyyy toooo muuch. However, they owe more than our offer so now we are just waiting to see if they can get the bank to right off their remaining balance. Considering the house was about to be foreclosed on, I would think the bank would do it but knowing banks who knows..... They call it a short sale and because of our economy and house sales falling and all that we have researched that banks are doing this a lot. So maybe. Dh says it is probably an answer to prayer for them, as well. Even though they are not getting what they wanted or needed for it, they are getting out from under it and won't be trying to make 2 house payments. If it all works out we know that it was nothing more than God directing every step we have taken. If it doesn't than it was His will and He has something so much better.
Well, as you can see we have been busy busy busy around here. I ordered a Kombucha Scoby and Dh started it for me last night. He just loves this kind of stuff. So we will see how it goes. I am excited about adding this next step in healthy living to our diets.

I pray all goes according to the Lord's paln for you and your house buying..The first house we had wanted to buy came back to high priced, we were somewhat disappointed, until later when we found out that it was in a flood area...One month later we found the house of our dreams...Thank you Lord...The same will be done for you...WIshing you the best...Debbie
