Well, I don't know about you but I get more done in my day, if I get up and get a shower and get started. For the last few months, I have been getting up and checking my email and checking out blogs for about an hour and then dragging through my day. I would catch a shower somewhere in my day. Well, I have started this week, as soon as DH leaves for work, getting in the shower before the kiddo's get up. I have done this schedule before and know that it is more productive, but a glutton that I am resorted back to my lazy schedule. I hope that after, yet again, seeing the error in my ways and starting a fresh schedule, I will stay on it. This morning I have already showered and dressed, put in 2 loads of laundry, folded a load of laundry, loaded the dishwasher, cleaned the kitchen, and done up all of my bills. It is amazing what can happen when you aren't on the computer for an hour.LOL
Well, now I am off to spend some good quality time with the Lord, as the kiddo's are busy working on school projects.
Blessings,
Trixi

I really struggle with idleness. That is one of my prayer requests. I have made myself a schedule to keep so that my time is under control.
Have a great day!

I have to work on that too

Putting my blog reading AFTER the important things are done. Kind of like a treat to myself. :O)

Oh yes I do understand.... the first thing I do in the morning is get up and take my shower and then I spend time in the word and prayer.... I have done this for years and it's habit now..... but on the weekends some times I'll stay in pj's and that just doesn't work...I am not as productive....I find that when I am dressed for the day I am more productive and I take my work more seriously.
Blessings,
gloria

Sometimes I have to push myself to get going. I like to lay in bed for an hour after I wake. It is hard for me to jump out of bed when I wake. I usually am up before the children though. If they get up before I do then I feel like I am behind all day. I don't know why I feel that way, a feeling of guilt maybe.

“I want to know one thing,” said John Wesley, “—the way to heaven: how to land safe on that happy shore. God himself has condescended to teach the way. He hath written it down in a book. O give me that book! At any price, give me the book of God! I have it: here is knowledge enough for me. Let me be a man of one book.”
