Christmas Day Breakfast Casserole

This is the breakfast casserole that we have on Christmas morning.  I make it up the night before and pop it in the oven when we get up to open presents and read the Christmas Story from the Bible.  It makes a great breakfast that is quick and easy....

Breakfast Casserole

1 lb. sausage cooked and drained (this year I will be using our deer sausage)
1c. sharp cheddar cheese grated
2c. milk
6 eggs lightly beaten
6 slices bread cubed no crust (I use my homemade bread)
1tsp. salt
Mix all ingredients together and pour into a greased 9X13 pan.  Cover and Refrigerate overnight.  Bake at 350* for 30-35 mins.

It's so easy.  I serve it with fresh orange juice.

My husband is the one who makes it up the night before. I'm too tired from Christmas Eve dinner..lol!

We make something very similar to this! Except with different kinds of cheeses and french bread!
