We have decorated for Christmas pictures...

After eating, Dh and I laid down for a good nap.  When we woke up, the kids wanted to decorate for Christmas.  We boxed up all the fall decorations and got out the tree and all of our other junk that goes with it.  I have 3 nativity scenes, a village, a ton of other knick knack things that I don't even have room for.  I left alot of it in boxes.  Here is what we used and how it turned out.

It took us all afternoon but I think it looks good and I'm glad it's out of the way.  Now DH will put some type of lighting outside and that will be it!

Our day was about like yours. We ate, laid around in the living room for a while, then started decorating for Christmas.
We bought a live tree this year, the house smells like pine now.We got the tree decorated but didn't get the rest of the decorations put up yet so we will be working on them tomorrow.

I really like being able to visit your blog now, thanks.

It looks very nice! I and DD put up the tree and decorated it today. The rest will come as I have time. Outside all I did was decorate a little tree and put up my santa, candy canes and sleigh lights and some flower garland on the deck. We have a projector that puts holiday scenes on my garage but we have to becareful with that as the vandels (sp) are shooting holes in the santa and snowmen blow up air decorations around town.
happy Holidays!

I like the pic above the Fire place, very nice. The decor is quite cute, although we dont decorate our home until the first of December, it is always nice to see what other people are doing. Have a great Weekend

Oh, your home looks wonderful! I've gotta tackle my kitchen before getting out the Christmas decor, but I'll have it all up the weekend. Your pictures make me want to skip cleaning the kitchen and decorate my house today!

“I want to know one thing,” said John Wesley, “—the way to heaven: how to land safe on that happy shore. God himself has condescended to teach the way. He hath written it down in a book. O give me that book! At any price, give me the book of God! I have it: here is knowledge enough for me. Let me be a man of one book.”
