Well, the ladies and I have been working on Thanksgiving details since after our nightly gathering up time. Youngest Ds was in charge of the Bible Study for tonight. He looked up and shared some verses on Thankfulness. Then we talked about what a major role God played in the first Thanksgiving. We also talked about how thankful we need to be to be able to still worship God. Rapidly, God is being deminished in this country!!
Then the men settled down and we girls got busy!! Oldest DD has been working on a formal menu. She printed it off and has layered it onto construction paper. She is finishing it now.
Middle DD, was helping me with making the dressing and the sweet potato casserole. She has now retired for the evening.

I am waiting for the rice to finish cooking for the corn casserole and then I will also be retiring for the evening.
Tomorrow morning I will be getting up early with DH and Ds. They will go off to hunt and I will finish up the cooking and get the house straightened and the table set. We have really enjoyed getting ready for our first little family Thanksgiving. I have enjoyed working dilligently side by side with my girls. There's another thing to be thankful for.
Blessings,
Trixi

today and from now till the new year is an empty time for me. i hate the holidays. it is a reminder of how much hate my family has towards me. please pray for me today. i am empty, lonely and hurting. its not supposed to be like this.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yes, I would love to pray for you. If you would PM me and let me know your name and so forth and I can pray for you specifically. If not that is fine to because my Lord and Saviour knows who you are already. I encourage you during these times to run to Him. God is our only help in times of trouble. He can feel the void of hurt and hurtful family. Run to Him!!!!
Bless you,
Trixi
“I want to know one thing,” said John Wesley, “—the way to heaven: how to land safe on that happy shore. God himself has condescended to teach the way. He hath written it down in a book. O give me that book! At any price, give me the book of God! I have it: here is knowledge enough for me. Let me be a man of one book.”
