Here is the new addition to our family.....

Here is Beaux.  He is an 11 week old, solid black Shih Tzu.  He is a bundle of joy.  You really can't tell by this picture but he is tiny.  I would say about 1 maybe 2 pounds at the most.  He should get up to about 10 pounds.  He is a ball of black fluff.  He is a gift to my 16 year old daughter for her 16th birthday.  We went and looked at him on Friday and went back and got him on Saturday.  We are not the dog buying kind of people but my DH really wanted her to be able to have a great 16th birthday and this was something she had been wanting for years (a lap dog).  Let me say he has not been out of her sight either.LOL  My DH saw him walking around for a few minutes yesterday and told me he didn't even know he had legs.LOL  Needless, to say he doesn't have to use them very often.  I am hoping he makes a great addition to the homestead.  I wanted her to get something that would not chase my chickens.  I don't think this one will.  My DD told us yesterday that this was the best birthday ever.  I think DH got his wish.

He's 77 weeks old in dog weeks. LOL
(that's 1.4 in dog years)
Mom had one of those when we were kids, we called him Rags.

This is so weird. My daughter has a solid black shih tzu named Beaux. We got him at 11 weeks old. He is now almost 3 years old and is a daddy of 7 little fluffy balls of joy.
