Finally, I am back on, at home!!

I am going to make it quick.  The HughesNet guy came out today and put in our new sattelite internet.  I love it!!!  Well, something is better than nothing but compared to the old dial up, it is great.  I am going to go check out everyone else and I will post more later.  I am so glad to be back with you guys.

Hi Trixie! I am rather new here, but "Welcome Back!" :)
When we moved to the country, I went from dsl to satellite, but with a different company. It's somewhat slower than I'm used to but it's not bad at all. I'm surprised that satellite gets so many bad reviews. Like you said, it's definitely better than dial-up and a whole lot better than nothing at all.
