Things are coming to a hault....

I don't know exactly when but it won't be long until my blogging will come to a hault for a while. 

We get the keys to the new house today.  DH will go and pay our utility deposits this afternoon and I am going to go down tomorrow and start cleaning.  I don't know if I have told you in the past but the lady who is moving out was a smoker.  So we are going to go and air out the house and wash all of the surfaces down.  We will also be shampooing the carpets.  I hope all of this removes the smoke smell.  I have an air filter we will be running too. 

At some point, after some deep cleaning, I plan on painting several walls.  With all of this going on and going on vacation in the middle of it all, I can see that the next month is just going to be a blur.  On top of it all, I really need to get busy on some packing.  It's hard when I know we won't actually be doing the move until Aug. 8.  However, Aug. 8 will be here before I know it.

The new house will not have internet connection for a while.  We are going with a sattelite connection and it is last on the list of things to be done.  Also, we are going to be purchasing a new computer.

Wow - you have a lot going on right now! I know how zapping moving can be......... I hope that the next month brings you peace in the midst of the "business" of packing and sorting and cleaning!

We will miss you blogging here - but totally understand the need to focus and work hard.
