In response to maa's ma leaving......

I tell you what, I am utterly disgusted by this.  It is one thing to be rude and attacking to adults but to do it to a child is inexcusable.  It shows a true lack of character.  We do not need to do it to each other much less to a child.  I guess this forum has gone too long without some sort of strife.  Anyway, I agreed, for the most part, with Belle's post on homesteading.  This is a homesteading blog. Sometimes, all you can find here is fluff.  Now don't get me wrong.  I have gleaned tons of info. here but sometimes it seems we get off track with what this forum is for and about.  That is ok.  I just don't read what I don't want to but there is nothing wrong with someone just stating the obvious.  I hope whoever did this has the courage to appologize and make things right.  We have lost so many really good homesteaders, I hate to see another leave.  Maa's ma is one of those who I have gleaned a ton from.

There is a great parable in the Bible about weeds and wheat. I think the same is true in 'blog land'. Glean from what is good, and pass over what is not......and when satan fires an arrow at your personal space, deflect it with the Shield of Faith.
